Knitting Project to Protect Your Privacy

Today I came across a great invention/knitting project by artist Rebecca Stern to protect your privacy while using a laptop. I think I should start recommending these to clients instead of the traditional 3M privacy guard. Rebecca's solutions looks far more cozy and also helps to prevent glare. Plus I would love to see airport terminals filled with businessmen in their very own knit privacy cocoons.

Rebecca was also involved in the declarative lamp project where innocent looking electronic lamps were modified to repeatedly announce "I am not a bomb" in twelve languages. These devices were specifically designed for use in the Boston area.

Rebecca has a number of interesting projects on her site. When you have some free time check it out. Also be sure to watch the videos to see her projects in action.

Cheers,
Matt
